The long wait is finally over. The Beatles are going digital, well, sort of. News has broken that Harmonix and MTVs Rock Band has beaten out the competition to secure the legendary band to develop a video game that will be entirely focused on the group. The game has the blessing of both remaining Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as Yoko Ono and Olivia Harrison, the wives of the late John Lennon and George Harrison

“The project is a fun idea which broadens the appeal of The Beatles and their music. I like people having the opportunity to get to know the music from the inside out,” McCartney said in a statement issued on Thursday.
I can’t wait to play The Beatles. As soon as we see it, we will let you know.
